Title: A message stick held in the University of Queensland Anthropology Museum

Description: Message stick. Physical Description: Rectangular in shape and is a medium hardwood that is light brown in colour. There are etchings of geometric design on both of the faces of the object that consist of three vertical bands of chevrons and horizontal lines: four groups of thirteen lines over the objects faces. There is red paint residue on one surface and the sides of the object are red with one having M. Jones written in white paint. There are two holes at each end of the object.
