Title: A message stick held in the University of Queensland Anthropology Museum
Description: Message stick. Physical Description: The object is in a display case. It is a long, solid object with slightly tapered ends (resembles a clapping stick shape). The surface is smooth; sanded. The object is a light sandy colour and some black marks feature over half of the object (may be part of the wood, not sure). The pattern is finely incised into the wood and consits of diamond shapes filled with lines on a slight diagnal.
