Title: A message stick held in the University of Queensland Anthropology Museum
Description: Message stick. Physical Description: The object is in a display case. Object is a small piece of wood - looks like part of a stick that has been broken off and the edges are carved so that they are quite smooth. It has been painted a dark brown colour. A pattern is incised into the wood and consists of: five small vertical lines, then a small zig zag and then two more vertical lines preceding the zig zag pattern.
