Title: A message stick held in the University of Queensland Anthropology Museum
Description: Message stick. Physical Description: The object is in a display case. It is light tan in colour, flat with curved edges. One end is tapered the other has been carved to be fairly straight. It has a finely incised geometric designs (zig zags, rectangles, triangles). Appears that the pattern may have been produced with a sharp, fine point. Inside the designs the wood is evidently smoother than on the outside.
