Title: A message stick held in the University of Queensland Anthropology Museum
Description: Message stick. Physical Description: Cylindrical in shape, medium hardwood of a light brown/tan colour. Patterns have been incised lightly into the wood (using a sharp, pointed object) and consist of chevrons and zigzags. Some are filled with very small dots. These patterns are highlighted by a faint black colour. On end of the object has been worked (carved) the other hasn't.
