Title: A message stick held in the University of Queensland Anthropology Museum

Description: Message stick. Physical Description: Rectangular shaped, flat object of a medium hardwood that is a light/medium brown colour. The same designs appear on both main rectangular faces and consist of chevrons and appear to have been burned into the message stick as demonstrated by the black within the designs. On the small lateral sides are vertical lines etched/burnt into the wood which go along their entire length.
